Rock the Block brings together homeowners, volunteers, and community sponsors to create high-energy community revitalization events.

SNHC in conjunction with Habitat for Humanities annually hosts the “Rock the Block” event. Over a two day period volunteers work alongside homeowners, and at times, Habitat for Humanities construction staff, revitalizing our blocks.

They repair porches, install fences, replace cracked concrete, clean gutters, and complete landscape and lawn clean-up. The last event will had 12-15 simultaneous projects in Southfield.
